What are the shopping lists for your ingredients?

If you are unable to receive our ingredient kit for our virtual/online classes, you can refer to the guidelines below for substitute ingredients:


Online Ramen Class



Broth

Can be substitute with one cup (300 mL ) of low sodium chicken broth or vegetarian broth

Tare

Can be substitute with two teaspoons of soy sauce. If spicy is desired, can use chilli oil or any chilli paste

Fresh noodles

If fresh noodles are unavailable, can be substitute with dry noodles

Toppings (scallion, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushroom, eggs meat)

Can be substitute with any chopped or sliced vegetable, meat or fish toppings in your pantry or refrigerator


Online Udon Class



Udon flour

Can be substitute with 100 grams of all purpose flour, measued in a bowl

Udon water

Can be substitute with 39 grams of water and a pinch of salt (about 1 gram), measured in another bowl

Dashi broth

Can be substitute with one cup (300 mL ) of low sodium chicken or vegetarian broth

Shoyu

Can be substitute with one tablespoon of soy sauce

Toppings (mushroom, wakame seaweed, dry scallion)

Can be substitute with any chopped or sliced vegetable toppings in your pantry or refrigerator
